RTH: Broken Alt. Tension Bolt

Does anybody know the part # for a 3FE alternator adjusting bolt? I’ve ordered the FZJ twice over and have been trying to find one long enough at a hardware store

The 3FE came with 2 different alternators. The 80 amp version has the external fan and the 90 amp version has the internal fan. Both use different mounting hardware, so you need to be specific.

NLA. All I needed to know.

The one I had in there was already from the PO that got bent badly. I found an M8 x 1.25pitch by 70mm at the hardware store… I doubt it’s long enough but I’ll keep looking.

Also: is the reason for the tapered bolt so that the whole thing isn’t threaded // ends up bending as you tighten it??
