dude how is your hard top still in one piece  You must have rolled that thing like 8 times.

Very cool, continue to git it. Good work on tossing that square tube mess up front.

I like fibreglass - so easy to fix :)
The annoying thing is all except one have been on the left side - there were about 3 weeks in a row where I rolled, repaired, painted - oops - rolled, repaired, painted... (you get the idea)

What are those things behind the seats with all the wires and lines going to them? Some kind of braking system?

Air operated fiddle brakes. From the dash I can push a button (the big red/greens ones on the overhead unit) and lock/release either rear brake.

Useful for tight corners and comps.

Dude! You are like MacGiver with a sawzall and a welder! Very cool stuff. It is funny how a cruiser like Landpimps green 40 can look amazing, and at the same time your frankein-cruiser ROCKS too!

You need to start a new site though call... ilvmud.com

Sweet stuff. Can you snap a close up of your front roof lip removal. That makes a lot of sense. Can you still remove your top if you want to?

Yes - I cut the lip off flush to the metal part that bolts to the top of the screen. Then wrapped glass/kevlar over it to bond it in place, and strengthen it.

Why didn't you just do a SOA?

SOA was a lot of work. I'd have needed to put in some sort of anit tramp bar front and rear and that's hard at the front and no re=oom at the rear because of the winch.

Didn't want extra height (too high really already).

And flexes well enoguh anyway...

It's staying road legal - havn't got anything big enoguh to tow it around with.
Shock towers from your local Ford dealer part E5TZ 18183A
Parts are ex Aussie - about 5 days normally - from memory about $30 each trade.

NaZeelan, eh? Now I realize why I kept seeing that big grin poking out of the "wrong" side of the truck. ;)

Thanks for the great writeups. Kiwi ingenuity at its finest.
