Beautiful rig and great story to back it up. You are a lucky man to own such a rare vehicle in this good of a condition. One question, i read that you are willing to separate the winch, if that's so i am interested.

Unbelievable. Its awesome to see that stories like that are still possible. Must be getting extremely hard to have that sort of thing happen though. Why not keep it all origional? You can update any ole cruiser, but that truck would be incredible restored to its origional glory!

Hi Rodney (Bull)

Payment for winch was done. Please check your email and thanks again. Let me know when ready for collection.

Now, to find such a truck in Southern Africa!

That cruiser is nice. Good score!!

The old F engine is tired and blows a steady stream of blue smoke, but runs. I need to make it a little more reliable. It will be a top notch job and only the seasoned veteran will know it is a 2F motor in there.

We are also going to leave it orange (well pumpkin color) in honor of the original owner!

Getting married this weekend so I'm booked:D

Congrats. Wish you all the best for the future.

Winch is not that urgent. Can take a week or two longer.

Great story, great pictures and more than great cruiser! Congrats!

Oh if you were wondering that thing you found under the seat is a water heater. Think yours has the car adapter. People would use those to heat their coffee or tea.

great story rodney!

not sure if i told you the story about my orange LV, but it involves me finding the original owner as well. he had passed away also. it was bought in sacramento and then moved to alaska with the original owner. then back to sac and then to me.

maybe i should start a new thread about it.....

Yes we need more stories of the LV!

Sorry to dig up an old thread but this is a great story and rig! I would love to know of any updates.

How are you going to conceal the 2F?
