Can I see everyones roof rack options? My only stipulations is it must be able to accommodate an ARB roof top tent, some sort of kayak retainer, and not have to drill any holes in the body. :) Preferably be under $1000 too. :)

:D you must work for Prinsu :) but so far it's what I am leaning toward. I just can't get hardly any info on it. I sent them an email on their website regarding clearance on sunroof, antenna, versatility, and making sure I don't have to drill any additional holes or anything. I live in Florida and definitely don't want the slightest chance of any rain issues. I just want to be 100% sure. :)

I just ordered a Prinsu, won't be here for a while but it looks like a good option. It uses all 16 roof roof mounting points (8 feet, 2 bolts each), the ability to move bars around and configure it is what I like about the design. I plan to leave the sunroof area open and use more supports in the back of the rack but we'll see what happens when the rack comes in. I will be using our ARB tent on the rack, I've been trying to think of a quick way to mount/unmount the tent with the track system. I don't keep the tent on the LC unless we are using it. I will also mount an awning on the rack, trying to determine what awing - will probably be the large ARB model.

This link helped me a lot PrInSu Design Studio Roof Racks BS Thread Tacoma world has a good amount of info on the rack for trucks.

Good luck, hoping that the Prinsu works out for me, I think it will.

I hope you'll post photos/info when your Prinsu arrives. I've been hoping to find a rack that sits closer to the roof than others.

Do you have over-all dimensions for yours? If so, I'd love to know its three basic dimensions (width, height, and rise above the roofline).

Seems like info is minimal online.

Prinsu is a nice rack.
On some of their models you have have to drill the roof. (for the 4Runners). I hope you guys checked before ordering as I don't see any install instruction/ guides on their website for the LC200.
Drilling the roof is a non-starter on any vehicle for me.

I did talk to Front Runner, and they said you can still buy the old style mount points (6 mounts rather than two long rails), which do mount LOWER. Also...they are height-adjustable...so you have a choice. This also means you could fit items like their table beneath it...or you can lower it. If the Prinsu isn't much lower, I'll likely to the Front Runner with the old mounts.

If you like to camp, having a place to carry a table top (underneath) is super sweet. Ordered a Tepui RTT for up above.

I just installed the Slimline 2 and am very impressed with the design (light but incredibly strong). Only flaw (minor) is that the front air dam whistles. Easily fixed by filling the gap or just placing duct tape.

More than OP's budget, but still think it deserves a good look.

:bang:AND DON'T FORGET TO FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS IN THE FACTORY MANUAL FOR REMOVING THE FACTORY RACK.:bang:

What was the issue with factory rack removal?

I saw the Tepui tent in person on Saturday on a 4Runner parked at a skydiving place I frequent, and it was looking VERY nice.

I like that it only takes up the rear portion of a full-length rack, leaving room for Matrix, cans, etc. nice telescoping ladder too.

Gamiviti is almost ready to release their rack

If nobody beats me to it, I'll be doing a little write up on the Prinsu once I get it installed. As anyone that knows me will attest to, I need to "personalize" just about everything before I install it, thus delaying completion... I got the rack raw and I've added a radius to all of the corners and I'll be having it powder coated 20% gloss black.

Yeah, looking forward to it.

New Gamiviti Expo++ rack arrived yesterday, and I immediately installed it. Other than me screwing up the notch for the light bar in the fairing, I'm very pleased with it.

Have you driven with yet to comment on any differences with the rack installed?
Without the fairing it's very loud, even at lower speeds (25+). Very baritone, like running a set of super swampers, except right near my head.

With the fairing on, it's pretty quiet. Drove 70+ on the highway and there's definitely some wind noise but nothing terrible or unexpected. With the 200, is say the fairing is a requirement

Could you take some pictures of the top, looks very nice.

I was reading on their site last night on the options. Could you share your order number so I could just duplicate your order for my truck. That is exactly what I would spec.
