You will have to cut the u-bolt shaped hardware that comes with the rooftop tent. The Prinsu rack is very low profile and if you don't cut the bolts it will make contact with the roof. I am sure this will be obvious to some or most, but ...

Ordered a new piece of ABS plastic and used the original Gamiviti fairing as a template, but extended it about 1-1.25"
On either side and about 1" longer at the bottom. Seems to cut down the whistling I got over 45mph with the sunroof open. This time I even notched the light bar tabs right. The only thing missing is a Gamiviti logo.

Picked up some oil-based black Rustoleum paint to touch up a few scratches the powdercoating received in shipping. I'll probably use it to paint the nuts and bolts as well.

I bet that limited clearance makes mounting the RTT a real pain.

@linuxgod - I really like the looks of that rack!

In round numbers what should one expect to spend for something like that? ~$1.2K, <$1.2K, or >$1.2K?

All in mine was about $1500 including shipping

I've got the Gobi Stealth. No RTT (yet) but carry a hi-lift, 2x2 gal rotopax, pair of TRED1100, Yakima sky box, Titan rod vault, etc depending on season. Happy to post any photos if you're looking for something specific. I found it was about 3 additional inches from factory rack, or about 6" total from the roof to account for the top crossbars / fairing. With an OME 2.5 + 33" tires, I'm at 6'9" but bumped garage bars at a 6'10" structure, so I only enter if 7' or taller.

I'd like to see photos! Do you have the little ladder they make on the back also?

I ordered the Gamiviti rack. I really like all the options. After you go over what you want, Tim sends you a drawing with the options priced out to confirm

should look very similar to linuxgod's rack except I only went with the front basket bars and it looks like I have more light tabs on the side and back for future expansion

This is very similar to the Gamiviti rack I had on my 100 series, but he measures and build them unique for each series. The 100 series is wider as the roof of the 200 series tapers in the rear.

These are great racks and served me well on my 100 series

I actually have two tabs on the rear for camp lights (which I just installed). I didn't opt for any on the sides through. If I ever decide I want side lights I'll have to figure out a mounting option.

What is the purpose for the tubes that hang below the rack towards the front?

They are actually a basket and some people run it basket up. You can have the tubes go all the way around if you want that on your rack. Many (like me and linuxgod) like to run it basket down. This provides a better grab handle for holding on while you adjust stuff on the rack or just getting in. Which way you run it is a preference thing. The rack fits either way.

Or you can get it flat without the bars

nice looking 60

Just pulled the trigger on a full length Baja Rack. The folks at Southeast Overland were very helpful. They are placing a restocking order and gave me a discount on the rack.

I chose this rack because it will still give me the ability to use parking decks in the city.

I will do an update with pictures when it comes in.

I should also add that this rack should be very adequate for hauling wood for my deck building project my wife has planned for me this fall. Well at least

Woah! That's gotta be the lowest profile rack I've seen. I like it!
But is it so low you can't get under it to attach rope or brackets? If you CAN...I'll have to look into this rack.

Could you maybe post a profile shot (side shot of your whole rig, and maybe a closer shot of the space between roof and rack?

Also, is the tube under the fairing touching the truck roof? Maybe it is just the angle.

I believe it is the angle, I will let you know when I get it. That is a picture from their website. They said there is 1.5" of clearance from the bottom of the rack to the roof of the truck. If you look at the other pictures on their site there is a cut out for the shark fin antena on the back of the rack. The bottom of the rack appears to sit at the Hight of the top of that antena.

Great looking rack, but I hope you aren't ever going to need it for putting a roof top tent on it.

I've got a Front Runner that has much more clearance and I still hate trying to get the mounts bolted up.
