Mind in the gutter huh:D? That is me trying to explain to my guys how 'Cherry-Lok' and 'Cherry-Max' aircraft rivets function....

This jig makes me feel better for some reason.

C clamp, part of a tube connector and away you go :D

I was figuring you would have something laser powered for small bends like this ;)

F'n awesome radiator mount..

Been busy lately trying to get our shop addition and build out organized...so I havent got much done. Here are a few pics.

I put a few drainholes in the bottom of grille mount with one of the mills at the lowest point.

I have a bunch of hours in fitting those aprons to the fenders /grille and tub and I am still not done yet. The parts are needing a lot of time to finesse them into place after i modified them (to my standards). I have cut and sectioned the upper apron twice to get it where i want it so hopefully it works witht the lengthened fenders I am doing. I couldnt take the hood overhanging the grill that much (around 5/16") as it was so I had to lengthen everything to get it smoother. I know the factory hood overhangs but I wanted it flush.

I am building a back cover plate on both aprons that clean up the look in the engine bay.

Is that hood straight? It looks kinda wavy in places in the pic.

I love that grill mount, dimple dies are pimp.

I think the hood is the straightest part on the frontend since I have everything hanging in free space with clamps to support it. I am fighting the aprons, fenders and grill all at the same time. I keep shimming it every which way to get the frontend as square as possible due to me raising the fenders and pushing them forward. I had to alter the aprons extensively to get my ideas to work.....but I dont have the hood on hinges yet so I am basically trial fitting things to get it as close as I can before i remove the tub.

Got some more work done...trying to get all the mounts mocked up so I can remove the body and do the alluminum welding on it to fix/modify it.

We removed 3" from the fender apron. This lets me move the fender up 3" and forward approx. 2.5". This will help me fit the 40's easier but still keep the LC frontend lines. I am extending the rear part of the fender and may be slighly widening it also.

I am totally in love with this build..excelent work.... i wish I had the time and the patients.... you will like the fender lift.... i did this to my truck 3 years ago and I can fit 38.5's with zero rubbing, so i think the 40s should clear pretty easy as well....

Look Great!

This makes my 45 build look really, really non profesional.

Ya, no models in your build. Don't try to post beagle pics, they don't count!;)
