Great work indeed. I wish I had the patience, oh and the equipment, oh yeah, and the skills. Can't wait to see the end results.

Yep, please take my name off the list of bar setting individuals lolThanks Gary, I watched your build with extreme interest as I was planning mine on paper and collecting parts as you were building. You built a kick ass rig that set the bar as far as I am concerned.

My truck is just a beater in comparison. Great job.

This is a fantastic build, but to compare is not fair, Gary.......... your build was different and you had less equipement and few less skills, but overall your build still is top notch.I could not agree more...definitely top notch.
Back to the build, are you welding those body mountaing brackets strait to the frame, I though it might be better(but what do I know) to have bent another tab on the brackest to get more surface area to weld too?
Thought full strait vertical welds were a no no?
Rob
Rob,
Those mounts will be boxed on the other sides (top and bottom) also to create a fully streesed part, not just the 2 outside sheets. If it was just those 2 sides, it would flex and tear in no time...no side to side stability. Does this answer your question?
