The bodies are worth far more than the chassis. There are a lot of good chassis, bad body 40s in NA.

If the engine runs and you can prove it, I have to think a rolling chassis would be worth $300-500 around here. Apparently more in CA if the 2F in the classifieds sells for what the guy wants for it.

I just gave away a 2F. transmissions are worth nothing. With the transfer it's worth a little. The front axle is OK, but there are other options to put discs on an early truck. You'd have to find that special person that needs one close to you for it to be worth much at all.

reno nv. and it has no rust , less engine trans and tcase

no rust on the rolling chasis.... but the body is rusted away...

truck was endoed enough to total it? how do you know frame is still good ? thats gonna lower the price ,and painting wont matter unless your hiding something most people have their own ides on frame resto.hope you didnt tell the wife you were gonna get your money back .the small parts gauges ,heater, bolts and jump seats are probably worth more than the frame good luck

not to be morbid, but was there a driver?

Whoah!

I hope everyone was allright. I'm getting happier and happier about having an MT cage right now.

Dan

my wife is SO going to approve an MT cage when I show her this

I survived a rollover and my cruiser looked as bad as that. Of course I didn't walk away unscathed. I spent 10 days in the hospital and 3 of those were in a coma. I am guessing if the driver lived, he was seriously injured.

I think you made out like a bandit - I have given better away...$0.

Ditto on hoping the driver/passengers made it.
