very cool! Congrats JP!

Thanks man I am just giving my wife one more reason to divorce me

JP is the Cookie Monster of Cruisers :D

C is for Cruiser, that's good enough for me...

the part that makes me most proud is now my father has the sickness, he didn't even bat an eye when I proposed this crazy ass road trip to him :hillbilly:

So your going to have: an 80, 40, FJ45, and FJ45LV? What is next FJ25? I'm jealous...

nah next on the list is having a kid, at which point I will likely have all up for sale:crybaby: and then vanish like Chuck has :grinpimp:

someone should print this for posterity. Jp thinks this is funny but his statement is true.

tried to get ole Marshall to join up, but he was too busy to deal with such and epic cruiser adventure:rolleyes: so my pops best friend is joining the team.... the list of people who can drop what they are doing on two days notice and head to wyoming is pretty slim:lol:

You have a disease, my friend. But Kudos to you and I know y'all will enjoy the trip.

Well, now you know you have something in common with old people. And I don't mean the addiction to rusted iron. Best of luck. I would be on the couch if I pulled such a stunt. And the couch would be in the back of my truck when I returned. Do it while you can.

That cruiser is awesome! I had no idea those were even made. I'm new to toyotas and cruisers, but I have to have one like that someday. I guess they are pretty rare, but how about parts and supplies? Are they easy to come by or is it something your going to have to hunt down every little thing? I can't wait to see this process take place.

They are pretty hard to come by and most are located out West. They only came to the states '63 to '67 and total production was some where around 500 for the US market. Currently there are about 60 accounted for here on Mud. As for parts they share the same drivetrain and font body parts as the 40's but obviously from the firewall back is completely unique veheicle. You are more than welcome to come see it in person when it gets to town

Yeah two days notice. Have to have more lead time than that. You bastard. Would have loved to go though. We will have our epic adventure this summer. And I'm already ready for that.

I would love to come see it when you get back. I found one on eBay and the wife said "one day when we have a house with a garage and I have a real job". So I said awesome there's a chance and she just laughed.

I assume your in Clemson, I live in central.

If the :princess: gives you a glimore of hope you've gotta latch onto that bad boy!

I am actually down in North Augusta, left Clemson a couple of years ago... but I travel through the area a fair amount and also likely bring it to a clun event or two
