Anyone ever smoked a deer with one of these things? I'm wondering how they'd hold up after an impact with Bambi.

I'd appreciate that. I'm thinking their center of gravity would be lower than a typical north american white tail deer though.

doubtful when they're in flight and those boys are stout

Thinking of pulling the trigger on this... what winches have folks installed with this bumper? ComeUp Gen2 12.5rs? Also, I see in some photos folks have a light bar right above the winch... any recommendations for that and how would the light bar be installed?

I have the Ironman in mine. Lots of room in the winch area. Plan on mounting the controller some where else

They fit fine if you use superglue...

Really wish this bumper had a bullbar option! I think this is the best looking bumper out there but really want a bullbar. Probably going to replace my MT Ghostwriter her in the next year...finger crossed.

Resurrecting an old thread, getting ready to install my rival bumper on the 2013 200. Does anyone have a recommendation for installing the headlight washers?
I plugged the supply hose and haven’t missed them one bit.

Ok! I have never used them, although, I notice the 200 headlights get covered fast in an actual snow storm. Was thinking a de-icer in the washer tank might help.
Sure, there is some marginal utility. I broke a washer (old plastic) when removing from the bumper cover, so my path was of less resistance.

Starting my install tonight: mounting a Warn EVO 12S and notice the vertical sheet metal piece that the grille attaches to interferes with the controller. I see 2 options:
  1. Move the controller somewhere else, or
  2. Bend the sheet metal piece at the bottom of the vertical out of the way and just use the bolts on either side to connect the sheet metal crossmember.
What you guys that have already installed like?

Move the controller is reversible.

I have an LX, so had quite a few items to work around, this is one of them, but in my install the bumper hit that crosspiece, on a TLC the bumper doesn’t, so it’s just winch controller.

In my Lx install, I fanned a new crosspiece and mounted the controller to it, behind the grill.

If you have a tlc, you can just mount that controller above the crosspiece.

@grinchy So I took your advice, but can't decide where to put the controller. If I mount it behind the grill above the crosspiece seems like it would be hard to reach up to connect the cable...
I can trim off the bottom part of that crosspiece support without completely removing it and put controller back on top of winch...
Anybody got a really cool spot for Warn controller in 200-series front end with this winch??

If you have the spot between the air filter and firewall on US passenger side open that works well.

My controller I could orient so the plug in was accessible thru the grille. This all varies by truck and winch type so it’s hard to generalize
