My son just called and told me long time wheeler Bob Garrett died of an apparent heart attack yesterday. You may recall his breakdown and assistance by many of you from this thread:

Sounds like the kind of guy many of us wished we had a chace to meet. In looking at the thread you linked I didn't realize it wasn't that long ago he was traveling through on his journey. I noticed Bobs sig line in his posts and appears he was a man who lived every day and didn't take anything for granted.
