There has been A LOT of conversation about ALL of the Tacoma wheels out here...

In that first link that poser gave, the general consensus seemed to be that they would fit. However, spacers are needed because the Tacomas have more backspacing. Post #18 has an example of spacers that person got as well as pics so you can see.
 
I just hauled off a set i wish i would have checked. They were rather thick it may be close!! If you are buying the newer tacomas had 16" they should be fine and look similar. ( I assume you all ready have them )

I tried 16" rims off an 07 Tacoma just for curiosity. If my memory is any good the backspacing is 4 3/4". They will not work without spacers. The tie rod end hits on the inside edge of the rim. I think part of the problem is because of the thicker cross section of the alloys.
