OK, I feel kind of dumb now.....

For some reason I remember someone saying that this was a PITA. It took me all of 15 minutes....

The trick is to remove the gas pedal first. This makes it easier to access the 2 bolts for the cable on the firewall.

a 2nd pair of hands would help by pulling the cable from the engine compartment lining up the bolt holes, but not necessary. I had to pull the cable back out a bit to snap the metal bracket back onto the cable. (it popped off 1st time)
Then I put the 2 bolts through the holes. This holds the metal bracket, plastic cable end, and rubber grommet together.

As for adjusting it.....
I assume I adjust the cable until there is just a tiny bit of freeplay?
