Getting ready to swap transmission/transfer between my 2013 and 2015 200s. Why? See my build thread. While I'm in there (my favorite words), I figure I might as well replace the rear main on the 2015. Do I need anything more than the seal itself (p/n 9031195013)? There is also a rear seal retainer (11381-0S010) but I think that is reusable. Can't tell if oil pan needs to be dropped which would mean a gasket. I'm still searching through FSM to find the relevant procedure. So far I've just found this which is mart of the full engine disassembly.

The top in that picture is the pan interface, so the block is upside down. Looks to me like the upper oilpan needs to come off the block, that’s probably an RTV seal not a gasket.

Personally I’d just leave it unless it’s already leaking. They often use teflon for RMSs these days and they can go for a very, very long time before leaking. They are also very sensitive to install procedure so it’s plausible the new one wouldn’t last as long as the original unless you have all of the special tooling… though I’m saying that going on other manufacturers and haven’t checked our FSM specifically.

Is this what you are looking for:
