Well, ive been following some threads trying to fix the buttons next to my MFD touch screen. All the easy and usual stuff didnt work (fuses, Pin60, etc). Basically my touchscreen works but all the hard buttons around it dont. Cant access navi, climate control, etc.

i ordered a replacement “new” circuit board for the screen… as some said it worked to fix theirs.
this was from Alibaba and they show an picture just like mine, and says ”new”, so took the bait.
im getting desperate.

anyway the replacement board just arrived, and will be installing it soon.
im starting this post with pics first.

First the original parts…

Dammit. *Fail*
after swapping MFD circuit boards, still have the same issues of dead (physical) buttons and no clock.
also noticed the row of bad buttons dont light up either… wondering if theres a broken wire for the hard buttons or something…

screen still works fine, just those darn buttons.
