Hi all,

My tach and speed light is out. How do I get the circuit board off to replace it please?

Thanks for your time!

Looks like you have an LX. In that case the lights are led’s soldered to the circuit board. They can be removed and resoldered. There is a thread here somewhere with details.

I bought the leds to do it myself, but haven’t been brave enough to attempt it yet.

Ok thanks! Saved me a ton of headaches lol. I'll put it back in and think about it.

Do you mind share the led part number and site you bought them, may be doing the same project soon. Thanks

And also... once we get the screws off the circuit board, how do we remove it? I took the screws off, but it's still being held on by something. I noticed little black clips all over it. Many this has something top do with it?

Thanks!

You need to remove the needles to get them off. They are tight be careful, you have to pry them off, I tried pulling them but not able. Another cruiserhead advised me to use a fork to pry them off slowly, that did it for him without breaking them. I have not tried it yet.

NO, those are important bits of circuitry!

The leds are soldered on the front facing side of the board.
