replacement 1HZ alternator options??? (1 Viewer)

my 1hz alternator died and I'm supposed to be on my way to GSMTR in about 5 days where can i get a replacement quick? thanks. i ordered a oem starter out of canada a few months ago and it took 3 weeks. someone out there must know were to source a compatible alternator in the USA. thanks

Call Georg at Valley Hybrids. He knows a lot about what can cross over from other engines on this truck, and IIRC the alternator has an easily sourced replacement here in the states... If not, I believe he has a few sitting on the shelf too..

I put a 1990 Paseo alternator on my 1HDT. Just had to change over the pulley.

Also Georg told me he uses 1FZE alternators from 80series on his 1HZs. So that is another option that you should be able to walk into and auto parts store and source quickly here in the states.
