Removing heater core from case

On a 75, stock front heater. Any tips or tricks on removing the heater core from the case/mount? Does it just slide in/out, I assume it's just stuck

It’s been a while, but it seems like you remove the top section of the case and it just pops out. I don’t remember it being too difficult.

Does yours have a foam strip on both ends?

If so, you'll have to work it up and out carefully - hose side, other side, hose side, other side til it's free of the box. It's snug!

Yep it has foam on both sides looks just like that, i'll keep working on it.

Try some liquid dish soap and a really thin knife blade or Sheetrock mud knife to break it loose
