Solving the ATcase problem...
As I live in mountain territory and have 35-38inch weel without low range in axles my AT don't tell me thank you.
Couple times i'v overheated AT oil and saw A\T temp bulb on my table.
So i Decided to mount an additional AT oil radiator.
I buy ussed engine oil radiator of MMC Pajero(~20$) and placed it before main radiator. Welded tibes and houset it.
AT-Additional Radiator-MainRadiator. That order. To give a posibility to AT oil warming up from the main radiator when it's cold outdoor.
Now problem solved. No overheating anymore.
Another problem was - that when I switched my transfer case to LOW position my AT did'n want to switch from 1 to 2 gear.
It switches only on 3000rpm - that was not good I thought. Or I should push 2nd button to start from 2 gear.
There is really not a problem - but on some rigs this point makes some trouble.
I troubleshoot it by dissconnecting plug from transfer case that give a signal to computer that LOW range in transfer case is toggled.
So I have two advantages. First - AT now switching very easy like on HIGH range and blocks Torque Converter(TC) at a speed of ~25-30kmh.
Blocked TC give on diesel fantastic power so I can drive at any ascending at a 1400rpm with 30kmh speed on 36-38 weels with even acceleration.
Second that now my Central differential is not lock when transferr case is on LOW range.
In steep mountain roads(offroads) where you did'n need Central DIFF locked - it is very useful. Or if you need to tow something heavy on common road and where you don't need hight speed... Or on the forest roads o any other off roads where you can't drive at a hight speed. It is very good idea to drive with LOW and 2nd pushed - 2gear at a LOW rougly equals 1 gear at HIGH. So virtually to switch between HIGH and LOW on transfer case you may simply push 2nd button.
AT works like a MT.
