Hi everybody.
So... the story begins in one little town Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky in Russia.
We live in peninsula but we have no roads to continent cause of low population here and low finansation in our place.
The place is very similar to US Alaska... winter 9 months, one month for outumn spring and summer. Lots of bears, deers. Absence of roads and lots of swamps and forests. And only two towns here - on the place of square bigger then several Europinian coutries.
So the longest road is about 700km from start to end and then nothing... void, emptyness... Like Stiven King's langoliers worked there.
We began be sad. Having land cruiser and have no possibility to drive anywhere.
As idle as a pained rig upon the pained road (Iron Maiden)
And we decided to drive far ... far away.
I'l tell you about our expedition Kamchatka-Pamir-Mongolia.
This overland expedition began in garage with installing lots of electric, expedition gear and other banana stuff onto my rig.
As we suggested that offroad will be not alot of, we through away different things that may help in mud, but install things that may bring a comfort.
We install subtank for 100l and now have 200l total.
Lowweight Alu roofrack for all roof length about 19kg.
220AC power supply fro 300Wt and 1.5kWt.
Onboard air system.
Lots of additional light inside and outside, additional lighter sockets, usb chargers, gauges.
Sleeping system and handmade cargo systems.
Install new MT wheels.
Radio Transmitter 27MHz 150MHz, 433MHz. and navigation.
Now we were ready.
Plan:
as we have no roads from penincular, we have to ship rig by sea and by land inthe container on ship and the train to the point of start.
From Kamchatka to Novosibirsk - the center of Russia. Far about 5000km from our town.

The next step was to send rig to port to put in it into container.
There was March and there was alot of show in town but wheel were not for winter)
We put in everything we remember all our stuff and electronics, cloth and camp gear.
Car start Here!
And car went to Novosibirsk.... it were on the shipping about one month... we sit and wait.

Our expedition lasts from 29 April till 18 June. ( 50 days )
We have crew of 3 cars.
We crossed the bound 10 times. Visited 5 countries. And have driven 18000 km.

Did the rest of this trip ever get posted? I just stumbled onto this amazing thread and it ends at a bit of a cliffhanger.
