Redid my tint and found a very close match...

Anyone interested in buying my "leftovers"? I'm ordering a roll tomorrow.

I would too if it is 30% tint. I cant go lower than that legally (actually 32% but that isnt made). I have the lumar bronze now, but would rather the vipir ceramic. Mine looks great some lights but I'd rather have something that matches the rear windows better.

Last week I tinted my 03 LX 470 here in Houston, TX. Took the truck to Executive Tint on Hillcroft.

Front=30
Back and Rear=20

I'd be interested. I need enough film for two front windows.

I'm waiting on the shop to call me back with the price of the roll. I got an estimate Saturday but when I went in this morning to order it, I was told I was given a price for something else and not ceramic 30%.

Does anyone know how many LC's (2 front windows) you can do with one full roll?

I would be in for front windows as well if you have enough.

I'm guessing 6ft would be plenty to do both front doors. If its a 50' roll, should be able to tint 8 sets of front windows.

My tint buddy says a 2012 LX is just over 3ft on his plotter, so maybe 6.5 ft to be safe?

Hello,
I would guess Huper Optik's ceramic film would also be a viable choice for those with bronze factory tint. While somewhat expensive, I was blown away at how effective it was in my Infiniti M45.

Here is a link to their website:http://www.huperoptikusa.com/Automotive-series.cfm
I am not sure how much of a difference Huper's Nanoceramic makes over Viper's ceramic film. I do know that it is quite popular on Mercedes-Benz, Ferrari, BMW, Audi, and many other forums.
Best.

Well, the shop called me back saying they had already ordered the film and that I didn't need to buy the whole roll. I made the appointment for next Monday....I'll ask them if they'd sell a few sets.

Usually you can do two front windows with one 3-4' section cut off from the roll, just cut the section you pull off the roll in half, assuming it's one of the wider rolls.

Hello,
I used Ceramic 30 on my Infiniti M45. While I spent around 90% of the time in Florida, the car was registered in Tennessee where the lowest the fronts could be is 30. The heat rejection is utterly astounding.

As for where it can be procured, this place is in Hoover and is a Huper Optik dealer.

I do not think many if any places sell Huper Optik by the roll. I would love to be wrong about this however.
Cheers,
Jack

Small world! I used to live really close to there when I lived in Hoover. I liked the Birmingham area.

Now in South Florida and wold Love some front window tint.

Which one and how do you order it?

If you can source something that works with the Bronze color there, I would be interested in getting some as well if you need some more orders to order some.

Hello,
I have nothing but great memories from the time I spent in Birmingham. While I grew up in east Tennessee, I actually attended 2 proms at Mountain Brook.

I actually just moved back to Tennessee after almost a decade on Siesta Key which is just off Sarasota. It is awesome that Floridians can rock 20% without any concern.
Best.

Thanks. I'll call them to see if they have something that will match the stock
