Redid my tint and found a very close match...

Yes, OEM tinted glass on the rear. Viper ceramic 30% on the front. The final picture of the driver side is pretty representative of the "worst" it appears. That's a straight on shot in low light. The reflective quality of the ceramic matches the OEM stuff, but the color is not correct. So when you see a reflection, or in decent sunlight it looks better. Flat light, looks worse.

The Viper ceramic film is pretty expensive!

WOW, I forgot all about this thread! I sold my beloved 100 series in 2012 and am about to buy another one and forgot what I had done for tint. Apparently I found the closest match ever on the 100's and it has become the standard choice now. I had forgotten what type of tint it was and will now be sourcing some Viper ceramic 30% as soon as I secure a 100 this week.

Anyone know where i can get Viper ceramic in socal? I tried Viper's dealer locator and called a few shops but they do not carry it. I also called a bunch of local spots in and around LA and no one seems to carry anything other than 3M.

Been away from this forum for a few years. I had forgotten all about this solution I found all those years back! Just got back into an 80 that looks to have the viper ceramic 30 on the 2 fronts but needs replacing due to scratches. I have seen that this film is now discontinued and the two contacts I had when I first started this thread confirm it as well. Has anyone found a viable alternative or does anyone have enough for 3 windows they would be willing to sell? I need to redo the 2 fronts as well as driver side rear roll up glass where it had been replaced and tinted with black tint.
