You guys have me looking this gun up and selling me on it. Was looking for small size to fit the car safe and I like the thicker grip because of the double stack.

CA has probably already banned it. It’s that good!

May your 2020 be blessed by God and prosperity, good health, and happiness be yours.

Went North to find snow today with a local dude who runs a 2006 LX470. His pretty rig impressed me with that fancy traction control stuff. It did well.

The snow was wet and heavy. Slush and ice ruled the day. Well, actually, Landcruiser’s ruled the day. 😁

I was politely asked by local law enforcement to relocate my license plate because the spare tire was partially blocking the last digit even though I had moved it left and retained it with only one bolt 3 years ago and had no complaints thus far.

This is what I came with. I wanted it to work with or without the 4x4 labs cargo basket and be lit up at night. So, I moved the stock light to my plate holder and used the wire harness from a spare tail gate as an extension.

At 301k miles and after 35k miles of running Delo 400 she is clean as a whistle. I expect that any DEO will clean the guts of an old engine.

As it turns out that was not crud on the upper surfaces. It was oil that wiped right off. DEO ftw...

I love my P938, but the HK compact 45 is my carry.
I missed your post.... I have a p238 and admire it greatly but the p365 is more for winter fashion if you get my drift. Once the weather warms up and carhart jackets are stowed away the 238 sees more use. Both are tack drivers.

Since you are down as far as you are have you thought about doing a new head gasket?

According to the previous owner, the HG was replaced just before I bought it at 265k by the Hermiston dealership. This is believable based on the work order he passed on to me and the cleanliness of the head. However, many other exterior engine “things” were done questionably. That’s why 35k miles and 4 years later I’m all over it.... 😜

Apparently Bosch makes good stuff. These parts were on the engine when I bought it. I have Toyota stuff on my spare engine that has maybe 5k miles on them. I guess I will put the oem parts on as I go back together with this. Kinda wondering why because she has been running super well ...

An old seal and dead blow hammer works well to drive the new seals home.

Break it up and extract it in smaller pieces.

I may be repeating myself here; I bought this1993 80 series a touch over 4 years and 35k miles ago. It runs so well that I have not bothered to replace the spark plugs and wires with the oem stuff that’s on the engine that I yanked from the green machine after I rolled it. I removed the TB to have better access to replace the water bypass hoses and one thing has led to another and I’ve decided to go ahead and swap out these tune up parts while I’m in there. Anyway, the spark plugs look better than I would expect for being run in an engine with a touch over 300k miles on it.

Plugs look to be in good condition. I would guess less than 50K miles. Just out of curiosity what was the date stamp on the wires?
