Hi all,

Just purchased a 2011 LX with ~200K miles that has full dealer service records and (importantly for New England) a clean underbody as a former Texas vehicle. There are a few points to address right off the bat:

1) Suspected front left wheel bearing
2) AHC globes

I'll be leaving this at a shop for that work, but given the age/mileage of the vehicle, is there anything else I should have done in a preventative capacity? E.g.,
  • Ball joints/LCA
  • Front right wheel bearing as well
  • AHC shocks
  • Valley plate re-seal
  • Alternator
No huge desire to throw $$$ at this if not needed, but this cruiser is clean and I have budget left over from when I bought it -- figured I might invest some more to prevent any failures/downtime over the next few years while the vehicle is at the shop. Thanks all in advance!

I’d replace the radiator if original. The things on your list I’d do only if they are causing a problem. Just change fluids, lube the propeller shafts, new battery, and enjoy the ride.

I would agree. I wouldn’t even change the radiator unless the top tank is cracked.

Radiator was thankfully already replaced (as well as the valve cover gaskets...)
