Short update:

I removed the fan, fan shroud, and radiator this weekend. Thanks to @bloc @KLF and everyone else who has posted their tips, the removal was more or less uneventful.

Before I started the job, I bought the OEM updated radiator, new radiator hoses, a new thermostat, and a new water pump.

Since I'm in there, I think I'll do the belt tensioner, idler pulley, and serpentine belt. Am I forgetting anything while I'm in there?

Fan bracket too.

Coolant level in the overflow seems to fluctuate quite a bit, if you can't find any leaks then I wouldn't panic.
 
I see Linuxgod mentioned heater T’s already. Now is a good time to replace them and new hoses.
 
Update:

I removed the water pump today. The front of the engine behind the water neck was crusty, but it seemed like grease rather than coolant. I did not see any signs of water leaks per se.

Any thoughts based on the condition of the water pump bolts?

I have a new water pump, thermostat, belt tensioner, and idler pulley ready to go on.

Since it looks like someone before me messed with the power steering pulley, should I swap out the power steering pump while I'm in there and have space to use @bloc 's tips?
