It's impossible to remove it isn't it? I tried pulling that sucker out for half an hour last night. I don't see any retaining clips or screws for it - is it part of the dash?

Do you mean the trim piece with a tiny speaker? I slide a flat screwdriver and lifted it. Put the window down and with a help of a flash light fine the location of the plastic tab that holds it to the door. Slide the screwdriver near to it and turn the handle clock or anti-clock wise. It should pop right out.

If you're talking about the panel by your left knee with the rear vent controls and mirror controls, the individual buttons pop out, the whole thing doesn't. Pictures of what you're talking about are always helpful.

That's it - sorry I wasn't more clear.

Thanks guys!
