Not 100% sure what you mean, the frame is just glued onto the opening with butyl, once it's out you need to undo the centre divider and spread the frame to remove the glass pieces, then clean and paint, replace all the parts, I used a kit from rubber seals Australia which is great, the reassemble and clamp it back in, with the rubber wedges and tubingHow did you get the outside cover off to get at the grasket?
That's part of the frame, the whole thing comes out of the openingThis metal trim piece:View attachment 3976645

Early ones like these have 4 screws that hold the centre divider in, later ones have 1 or 2 on one side and none on the otherLegend. Never seen one removed. Thank you.
Someone was saying that there’s a screw you have to unscrew. Where is that at?
Could you post a link to the place in Australia you got the rubber seals kit? Does it provide everything, inner piece and the outerNot 100% sure what you mean, the frame is just glued onto the opening with butyl, once it's out you need to undo the centre divider and spread the frame to remove the glass pieces, then clean and paint, replace all the parts, I used a kit from rubber seals Australia which is great, the reassemble and clamp it back in, with the rubber wedges and tubing
Justin, these windows are installed in such a simple way that people think WAY to hard about it. To get them out you removed the welting on the inside and literally just pull them off. Might need some gentle levering with a tool as @ttxpc says, since they’re “glued” to the body pinch weld with butyl. He’s also correct about the screws. They come in from the top and bottom of the frame to hold the center divider and have nothing to do with keeping the whole assembly attached to the truck. You can remove the screws and center divider in order to spread the frame enough to remove the glass. Reinstall one pane first, then fit the center divider loose, install the second pane, then fit the screws into the center divider. The divider has to go in with a certain orientation so be aware of that. Also 80 Series center dividers are exactly the same but 1/2” longer. You can get those brand new, cut off a bit with a dremel, and have fresh dividers. They include all the furry weather strip bits already installed and are matte black.Rubbersealsaustralia.com
