Hey fellas,

I have a sprung over 75s and used to have great pinion angles...

My rear pinion to drive shaft angle has rotated over 0deg from not having a rear wrap bar.

do u think this angle will cause problems?

do u think i could bend it back when i build a wrap bar by making the end sit too high and just push it down to get it into the shackle pin?

The spring pads are going to sit flush with spring surface, If you had good pinion angles before, that would imply you now have bent springs. There is more going on there than you might realize. With that pinion angle you will most likely have drive line vibrations, and building an anti wrap bar to try and pull it back into position would place stresses some where else.

Post some pics the entire rear leaf spring and rear shackles. What is that rod in the foreground of the pic?

If it were me, I would find out if the leaf springs are bent and replace them, you may need to re-weld the spring pads to the proper angle and then fab in an anti wrap bar.

Good luck.

Cheers fellas, the springs are parabolics and are only a few trips old.

The turbo diesel has alot of torque and i get some good wrap if i tramp it too hard...

I dont have any decent pix of the rear shackles and all that ill have to get some
