Ok all. I am looking for a rear bumper / tire carrier for my 09 LC and cannot really find what I am looking for. It looks like ARB is the only one out there. I did see one from Slee that is a custom job that I like, but that is really about it. I would love to see some pictures of others and maybe some websites of other companies that have some. I really want to get the spare out from under the rear end and out of the way. Any thoughts?

VPR 4x4 makes a rear bumper with a tire carrier. They don't have it listed on their website but I know for sure they make one. The rear bumper also accommodates the backup sensors. I'm one of the only people on this forum who has decided to go with VPR bumpers. Everything is supposed to be delivered to the shop Tomorrow. I'll create a thread about it soon.

I really dislike the ARB unit and have been waiting for @sleeoffroad to bring theirs to market. It's not quite there yet, they recently informed me.

@sleeoffroad is getting closer to releasing his...which I'm determined to wait for. It will have better Jerry can capacity and a ladder...with two swing-outs. Very nice setup, and Slee stuff is famously STOUT. He's taking his time, but only to be sure he gets it absolutely right. I've already scheduled an install for Summer when I'm in CO. I had his rear swing-out on my 100 series and it was a beast.

That is kind of what I am seeing. Just from looking at it I am thinking that it might be worth the wait. I am looking at putting a FrontRunner roof rack on for lighting and an awning and just putting the spare up there for a bit.

I have the ARB rear bumper that does not accept the carriers, and I like it a lot because it's low profile and stout (the one on the left: Slee - Toyota Land Cruiser 200 Series Rear Bumpers). If you want carriers however, I'd wait for Slee's because I know they're working hard on delivering it soon.

I have a 2016 LC200 (UZJ202) and I am looking for a rear bumper with a dual tire carrier. So far the only one i have found is the Kaymar rear bumper. Unfortunately, it is on the pricy side, where I live it has a very long lead time and the shipping is outrageous. Any suggestions on options for a rear bumper a dual tire carrier that will cost less than $4,000? Alternatively has anyone tried fitting the ARB LC200 rear bumper on the 2016+ models. I was told the frame was the same, but don't want to buy one and not have it fit.

The ARB rear can be fitted with tire carriers on both sides.

I'd suggest contacting ARB to ensure fitment. They released updates front bumpers for the 16/17 model years. The rear probably works but I haven't seen it done yet.

I contacted ARB in Aus and the US. Neither would confirm if it would work. The only info they provided was that the frame was the same.

You would certainly be limited in how large a tire you could fit... Perhaps that's the hesitation for confirming? Thinking anything over 33" would be too wide on the bumper. Maybe someone else will confirm or deny...

Yes 33" is the largest tire you can fit with the ARB rear bumper with dual tire carriers. That tire size works for me as the largest I will go will be either 285/65R18 or 275/70R18.
What I need confirmed is does the Bumper fit the frame and body. Particularly any changes to the body and OEM bumper made in the face lift from 2015 to 2016.

CBI has just recently made one with dual swingouts for the 200. The xpedition overland guys are running it. Quick search and you'll find it.

Good luck.

That new CBI looks awesome. I can't wait to see those trucks in person next week at Expo

Tplane2 thanks for the tip off. CBI is going to make them for commercial sales soon. I am going to order one from them. Thanks for all the help gents. Below is the current state of my build. Lifted with OME BP-51 shocks and ARB skid plate. My bumper and roof rack arrive this month. Doing this in Saudi Arabia is a pain but I love wheeling.
