I am only coming back on the website after a two or so years of being out of the loop. I know there is a vast amount of knowledge and information out here on the FJ40's and am looking for some today. I know back awhile ago there were drawings of the rear brake conversion "brackets/plates" on one of the websites or on here. Can someone please help me out with locating these drawings. I am in a position where I can have these made now and am looking at doing the conversion on my FJ40. Thanks for the help.

I bought a rear disc brake kit from poser here on Mud, I just got around to installing it this past weekend, and it was great! Everything was included and at a fair price. If he still has them I would recommend talking to him about getting a set.

Downey off raod used to have a set of instructions that he sent out via email that was pretty good. If you can get ahold of them. I think I still have them and would be happy to scan them in and send you a copy it you like to look at.

X2 on poser's brackets.

I've read a lot of good things about them.

I agree with these responses. Hardly makes sense to get a pattern and cut your own when Poser has 'em already cut and good to go. Good prices, too. Poser has become the go-to guy on these. In fact, most of us refer to these pieces as Poser Brackets!

:)

What thye said! Go to Poser, high quality, turnkey and a thread on proper installation by Poser in the FAQS :bounce::bounce2:

I should have bought Poser's before buying JToutfitter's... I haven't installed them. Does anybody know how good mine are? Easy to install?

I don't know anything about JTO's brackets, so can't help you there. I assume they are adequate.

Poser (Steve Cramer) has the brackets, the rear discs, the tabs, the clips, the hoses, and the tech know-how to help you get the job done. I like doing business with him.

Can someone send me Posers contact info?
