Rear bench seat console (1 Viewer)

Does anyone have (or know of) an inexpensive rear seat center console that fits the 60 series bench reasonably well? I'm only looking for something temporary since I plan on mounting cup holders to the back of my Tuffy once I eventually modify and reinstall it.

Against my aversion to mortal suffering, I told my daughter her friend could come with us on an upcoming road trip, so now I'll have two preteen girls riding in the back seat of the 62 for several hours

The kids can keep enough cassettes and CDs for their Walkman's in this console to entertain them for the whole trip. It also has space for an analog cell phone!

I have an old cshool version of this in one of the suburbans. It seems to fit perfectly in all the old 1980s full size chevy trucks with bench seats. Never thought of tossing it in the back of a '60, but I bet it would work great.

Oh I'm all for it. She's daddy's little shieldmaiden. But two preteen girls in the back of the Cruiser for several hours could end up painful

A slight aside: I have been looking for a front console addition that would sit on the floor in front of the stock console.
I swear I've seen one that was a 'universal' since it had sandbags on either side so it could just be placed on the floor and be anchored.
I've been looking all over the Interwebz for something similar but haven't had any luck.
Has anyone seen something similar in their searches?

I did one better. 86'd the console idea and just got a couple cup holders that latch onto the door window sills. They'll work until I eventually get my Tuffy back in.

That's sounds like a 1970s pickup truck accessory when pickups were simple, bench seat and large exposed tranny hump.

Thanks, that's pretty close. Says it's for a 62 but think it would work for a 60, too.
