What is the total rear axle width of a stock GX470 8.0"? I am considering options for the rear.

There are several options already available. Stock 8.2, diamond 8.2 or 9.5. The Currie 60 etc. what you thinking?

He's thinking about what the WMS surface width is on a GX/120
If he has one go measure? Google tells me 64.5”. What do I win?

I've seen 62.2" (track width) and 60.75" (WMS to WMS). Would be great to confirm...

Quick measuring (wheels still on) seems to support 64.5".
A friend has an axle out of a 2000 Trooper (modified 12-bolt) that I can get cheap if it will work. As I understand it, these axles are close to the same strength as a D60, has an LSD, 4.30 gears and the same wheel bolt pattern. It is a 3 link instead of 4. The trouble is, I can't find much info on these axles nor support for them. This axle measures ~63"
Note: 12-bolt is not the same as the GM 12-bolt
