I'll add to this as I did this job last night. This is from memory

Remove battery ground and positive (I do both)
Drain from the petcock, and take the top off the radiator for venting.
Remove air box and intake hose while things are draining
Then remove lower radiator hose where it's connected to the radiator and drain there.
Remove the coolant reservoir
Loosen the mounts for the a/c line and the wiring that goes across the top of the radiator.
Remove the three bolts for the shroud to the radiator.
Remove upper and lower radiator hoses. This gives lots more room to just push the shroud back over the fan. No need to remove the fan.
I used some hose pinch off pliers on each of the tranmission lines to the bottom of the radiator.
Remove the trans lines connections
Remove the grill (three screws)
Remove the nuts from the top/front mounts of the radiator that were behind the grill.
Remove the single bolts on the lower/side mounts. These are the longer/vertical ones.
Pull radiator up and out, minding the shroud and the lines
Transfer the lower mounts to the new radiator.
Slide new radiator down and in.

Reverse the rest.

No need to remove the fan. No need to remove the battery.

About two hours with clean up.

Yeah. I didn't remove the intake box, I just removed the reservoir instead.

Awesome thread thanks all. Replaced my radiator today. The first photo shows the clamp and bracket for holding the A/C discharge tube and wire above the radiator. The PO managed to break both of these assemblies at the rubber grommet/dampener. Any way to repair or an easy DIY for wire/tube management. I scoured the inter webs for a while and didn't find much.

Did mine yesterday. Bought a Koyo and it looked perfect and ready to go. Got it in and while hooking up the bottom hose on the passenger side noticed the aluminum line coming out on the radiator was loose and is shifting up and down loosely, wasnt tight. Started her up and of course its leaking worse then the original with 220k miles on it. Now I have to contact the seller and go through the whole process. Im thinking I could just tighten the thing but its not a double nut like the OEM so Im affraid if I tighten it and the housing cracks then they wont work with me... Unreal...

@RockyLC , these things? they are the same part # left and right, both mine were broke. 8871860880
now that I'm doing the 3rd radiator (see the pink?) swap out because I keep getting ones with cracks it's really getting on my nerves having these broken stand offs. I tried all things to glue them together, jb weld didn't work either. Any better fix than 40$ for both?

Hi. I purchased part #88718-60880 and it is not the correct part #.

Do you know the part number(s) for the two clamps in the picture? Thanks!

Did your clamp break or just the rubber?

Also the part number you asked for is posted like three posts ago but if for some reason you don't think it works just call Toyota parts with your VIN or punch your vin in on any of the online parts places and you can figure it out.

There is an amazon part that will work although it's not as clean as OEM

Thanks!

I will go pull them off my old radiator and see how they come out. I can send them your way.

They didn't want to come out but I will mail them off if you want them. PM me if you are interested.

Super old post, but what are the odds you still have these laying around? Unfortunately a new radiator I bought arrived with a damaged fitting. Happy to cover shipping and $20 for a burger and a beer if you (or anyone else) has one they could part with. Thanks!

I have an old radiator that I swapped out last year (leaned up against the side of my garage, ha) that has those fittings, I can check for you tonight if you'd like. Feel free to PM me.

I have a just-replaced OEM rad that I’m about to toss. Fittings look good. LMK if I can help, trash goes out Thursday AM.

Hey, thanks! If the fittings look good I will take them! PM incoming...

Thanks a ton! Sounds like Jack above has me covered but maybe I could talk you into pulling the fittings out before tossing the radiator, if not for my use, at least to keep as spares? Can't believe Toyota doesn't sell the fittings themselves since it's such a small part that could grenade a radiator if it is bent or fails. I'll PM you if the fittings that Jack mentioned don't work out.

Huge thanks again to both of you guys, this forum is a really incredible resource thanks to guys like you.
