You were an amazing friend and companion for 14 years of my life. Thank you for your devotion, for listening to my troubles, and for sharing in my life.

RIP Teak.

It's amazing how much they mean to us. I'm sorry for your loss.

Sorry. I lost my 15yo this year. There is nothing easy about it.

Sorry to hear about it. I know how it hurts.

Sorry :(

very sorry to hear, Woody, our dogs really are our best friends...

14 years is a good life for a big dog, obviously he had someone that cared deeply about him.

BTW, my solution to the pain is to get another puppy. as you know he won't replace Teak but it gives somewhere for the love to flow...

I was watching a show and they were talking about how cows are the most important domestic animal, for food reasons. I'd say dogs are the second most important, for companionship, work, and protection.

Sorry about your dog. They truely are mans best friend.

very sorry for your loss :( I am sure you have given him as much joy as he gave you :)

That bites. Dogs are our best and truest friends. No matter what kind of day you had, or how mad you were at them in the morning, they are always so happy to see you.

Sorry about the loss of your dog Brian. It's hard to explain, but they really do become part of you like nobody else could.

Sorry about your loss :frown:
I heard this on a PBS show "Pets: A Very Natural History"
quoted by a little boy
"Everybody is born so that they can learn how to live a good life - like loving everybody and being nice, right?" The four-year-old continued, "Well, animals already know how to do that, so they don't have to stay as long."
