Sorry for the loss.

Our yellow (Bailey) is 10 and it's my wifes first pet. It's going to be a hard day when she goes but the joy she has brought us far outweighs any sorrow. 14 is a good run for a dog and although it doesn't help much, there is some solice in the fact that a full life was lived.

Man its ruff....My 14 y.o. lab also went to doggy heaven in june. The hardest part has been that we have not replaced her with a new family member yet. Soon though. My Condolences

Brian, I'm deeply saddened to hear of Teaks passing! My dog Josie is laying at my feet - she has been with me the entire time since I came home from work 4.5 hours ago - she has been living with us only for about four years now, but is definitely part of the family.

Best wishes to you & your wife! Getting a new puppy in a few weeks would probably make you both very happy, and spark memories of your time with Teak.
