The inspiration for Speski OffRoad passed today.

He will be missed by all who knew him. A companion on the mountain and on the trail, he will never be forgotten. R.I.P. Porter.

Oh damn. :( Sorry to hear this.

Godspeed Porter! It is written that in heaven there are dogs and beer.

Corbet,

Porter was one of the most beautiful dogs I have ever seen. Given, I have only seen him in pictures. He will be a king in heaven! Speski Off-Road will carry his legend, keeping the owner safe from harms way :)

RIP, Porter.

He was a helluva great dog...and he was convinced that he had a mastery of the english language. I loved how he vocally expressed himself as if he was carrying on a normal conversation with you.

A Big, Happy, Gentle Giant. I always loved Malamutes and Porter was a pinnacle example.

Condolences, Corbet, Marianne and Bridger.

Fine looking dog, RIP.:frown:

Sad, what a gorgeous dog, my favorite breed for sure. Best wishes to you and your family.

Sorry for the loss man. That pooch has wolf in him, no? My best friend had a 85% timberwolf that was an awesome dog. He still has her grandson.

If there is an Almighty, he effed up by limiting the life span of our four legged friends. :frown:

I feel ya. I was across the pond, at work, and my parents had to put my buddy, Otto, down. Was tough not being able to make it back.

At least he had a good last day. My dad went out and got him a Big Mac and a couple of small chocolate cupcakes before taking him in. He was a happy camper.

9 years old is way too young for a Malamute to go.... then again, 90+ years old would still feel too soon to lose a good dog.

What a great dog. Was happy to have had a chance to meet him on a few occasions. Rest well.

Damn forum Nazis, I don't visit here often, I would have not known. I love my dogs. As I see it , they are a family member and should be treated as such.

Breaks your heart. Sorry to hear about your loss.
