Quick help. Does this look stock/OEM to you?

Hey guys, been doing my research for a while and some things don't match here. I see the gray interior but then the seats are beige and the carpet is black. Do you think that the carpet has been replaced maybe indicating that the vehicles has flooded before?

Please see attached. I hope that is it. Cant really tell myself since I'm not that experienced. I really like that red color. Its just that the ones I have seen are either all beige or all dark/gray. Thought it was weird to see a combination of both.

08-09 might look like sport model. They came standard with darker wheels and redwood interior. The interior color does look weird with black carpet. Mine is 05 sport and it does have black upper dash with beige interior. The carpet stays beige on mine. Wish it was black. Easier to clean and does not show as much dirt like beige.

It's definitely a sport. It's got the darker headlights, the black wood, the silver trim around the center console vents...

The '08/'09 brochures state that the sport interiors have black carpeting. The older sport beige interiors are two-tone with black dashboards and beige carpets while the newer sport beige interiors are two-tone with black carpets. The non-sports are two-tone with beige and brown.

Definitely a rare find! This is the first pic I've seen of the 08/09 beige sport interior.

So I knew my aunt had a close color combo that I had never seen. After I bought my second gx she replaced her Avalanche with an 07 GX. All the photos she showed me pre huy were black and white. When I saw it I was like wow black is cool. However her carpets are clearly tan and I think the flood damage replacement is a decent theory. It took a few days to get the pix from her but she sent them today. And by the way it also had the KDSS and I always had a hard time seeing it in pictures but to see it in person (and drive it) it’s kind of amazing how beefy that sway bar is

The OP's center console, boots for shifters, and hand brake are all black. I have never seen this and I am still new to the GX world but I think it looks good.

Don't scare the OP! The black carpet is factory for '08/'09 sport models. I linked the brochure for the '08 GX previously which states states that the sport package includes black carpets and floor mats.

The earlier sport models, like your aunt's, has the tan carpets. But for '08-'09 they switched to black. The tan sport package interiors in general are pretty rare and the '08/'09 even rarer, as GX sales slowed over the last years.

Thank you guys!! Love the comments and the support! Will update you in less than 24 hours if I went with that one or with a 2003 Sand Dollar Pearl. Obviously I would like to go for the 2008 one but the 2003 is only $6k and it fits my budget way better.

I have an 08 sport with black carpet but the seats are grey. Pretty sure they only did black carpet on the sport in 08 and 09

I don't hate or love KDSS. IT works for what it is. I am simply further down the road (year 10) of my build so it doesn't work for me.
