Part number verification
CV Axles 43430-60040
Axle hub flanges 43421-60060
Axle flange gaskets 43422-60070
Seal at the differential? I don't know the part number and if it should be replaced?
Any consumables needed
I plan on replacing ball joints upper and lower at the same time- might as well why I have it apart.

You don’t need to remove the drive flange for a cv replacement, and if your diff isn’t leaking just leave that seal as well. You may need a different snap ring so buy one of each thickness and call it good. Otherwise you will not need anything else except for some grease, unless of course your ruin a ball joint boot in the process. Have a torque wrench handy for reassembly!

I disagree about the differential seal. They're pretty cheap and worth replacing in my opinion, so you don't have to go back in again in a month to fix a leak. They're different part numbers for the driver and passenger side.

Well crap I ordered 2 of the same part number- 90311-47027, I'll email the dealer and hopefully get that resolved. Thanks!

I'll split the baby - I think its a good idea to have a diff seal on hand, in case you nick the seal removing the axle. I'd only replace it if its age is unknown, or you inspect it and its damaged.

If you jack up the truck one side at a time you won't lose any gear oil, but if you have it on a lift or both sides up, you will lose gear oil when you pop the axle out.

The cost isn’t the issue, it’s the difficulty in placing them that I worry about in this case. Patch makes a special tool for this install, would be a good choice for annyone asking the question to begin with.

I find it best to replace both side diff and knuckle seals, when replacing front drive shafts (AKA CV, AKA FDS).

If lifted, good idea to do a Slee diff drop before or at same time as FDS R&R.

It is also a good time to replace axle needle bearing and brass bushing.

Pairing a new hub flange with new FDS, is best.

Additional, I do a wheel bearing service, in most cases.

Ball joints if bad. I never R&R ball joint as a PM.

Can you confirm the part numbers on the two oil seals? I have a diff drop already, but I measured my wheel center to bottom of front fender, it was 22.25 on passenger and 21.75 on driver so I’m going to lower the front a bit. Thanks

It's best everyone find their own P/N. I use www.partsouq.com for look up of P/Ns.
Make sure to use your VIN # to find your rig. Also, drill down into parts, until price shown. There you also see subs P/Ns. I then cross, with most any USA Toyota Dealership portal. Or I just ask my Toyota parts guys, to get for me.

Very often someone sees, a part number (P/N) for a 100 series in mud. Then buys it. Then say "Thanks BUDDY" you gave wrong P/N.
Fact is, many variation of 100 series platform. Year matters. So does LC or LX and country manufactured for. Using VIN # above part portal. Brings up your vehicle.

Also P/N changed over the years. Where as these posting in mud, don't. It also depends country purchased from and from whom. So I avoid, giving out P/N. But below are side diff P/N's plus knuckle and wheel hub. Which will confuse you;)

Much appreciated- I’ve ordered thru Sparks Toyota, can’t get them to respond or talk- may have to just get the seals local- or order thru cruiser outfitters- they were extremely helpful on the stuff I did get thru them.

As @2001LC says, look up your part numbers on Partsouq with your VIN, then you know for sure what you need. It makes shopping around much easier.
