A couple years ago Jeramy and i came up with this idea, we load the families up for a day ride in the cove about a half hour in we informed the wives that it was there turn to drive. Mine was very reluctant but after a few minutes behind the wheel it was easy to see she was having a blast. So anyways its on again for this year SUNDAY MARCH 17TH everyone is welcome but you must bring your wife or girlfriend (not both ;) ) kids are also welcome. This will be a slow paced, easy trail ride.

Andy,
Great idea. I know that Carolyn would not spend a day on the trails with me so there can be no switch in driving duties there. However, it works for daughters. Last year when we got to Coal Miners, I sat in the passenger seat and Melissa did all the driving at Rousch Creek. She did well and was a natural; she knew a lot more than what she was ready to giver herself credit for. Also, I think her skills and feel for the gearing/clutch/shifting improved her street driving too.

Have fun. I will watch this date in case we can free up the day. Thanks

Love to come, but can't make it on a Sunday. Sounds fun.

Fantastic idea. I'm really wanting to get the wifey off road in her 4Runner. I don't know if we're available but I'll find out!

Sounds really fun! Count me out though... The new baby will be about 3 weeks old by then so I say mama wont be able to bounce around on the trail too much ( o ) ( o )

You're having a girl right??? Bring her! Might not want to let her behind the wheel quite yet though. :D

Looks like we won't be able to make it this time. I was informed we already have plans in Atlanta that day. Too bad though. Really looks like a fun ride.

What are you, a Buddhist?
Great Confucius say..
"expect nothing; and all will be a gift"
You missed the hidden meaning in my post. I was thinking about going to go to Mardi Crawl and the wife has other ideas.

Wondering if y'all would mind an outsider from the Nashville area in on this ride? Kids will be on spring break and we are gonna be in the Chattanooga area that weekend. I would be awesome to get the kids and wife exposed on this kind of ride.

There is no such thing as "outsiders" when it comes to Cruisers!!! With you being from Nashville it sounds like we might have a future STLCA member :)

I've been wanting to get to a meeting. I'm either out of town or some other circumstances interfere, but i'll get there one day.

I guess when I said outsider I meant someone not from the local area who only has a vague idea as to where the ride will take place.
