Not showing up on iOS 15.6 running Brave, nor did it show in Chrome with fresh login.
This has now been updated to work correctly on iOS (latest versions, 16.4 and higher)

Any chance on push notifications being enabled with the PWA on iOS? Using safari, but I can switch to a new browser if need be. Thanks for the update!
It's supposed to work, but I don't have an iOS device to test with....it's really geared toward mobile tho.

Maybe it’s a setting I need to change, I’ll keep tampering with it and let ya know.
If you click the padlock in the browser menubar next to the "forum.ih8mud.com" text, that menu allows you to reset notification permissions. That might be the spot.

Got it. The first time I tried to download the app, it just acted as a link to the web browser. Reinstalled it and it came through as an actual app this time around. Thank for your help on this, its super cool.

I’ve had ih8Mud as an ios homescreen icon for many years…as that’s always been possible via ios natively. You can do it with literally any web address. You just tap the share icon, scroll down, and tap “Add to homescreen.”
This has literally been available at least 8 years, and likely more.
Try it in Safari…with ANY page you like to return to. In fact, I have long created “app” group specifically for direct links to various specific posts with dozens of threads on Mud to save myself time when people PM questions about my truck that I’ve already posted info on somewhere… See pics below, and note how many PAGES of links I’ve done this with. Very handy.
Those are links, not PWAs with notifications. iOS just released this with the 16.4 update.
Unless Apple has been mistaken.... which I doubt.

BTW: your list of threads/links to the forum are effectively Bookmarks....a feature that's built into the forum software.
Just click the flag looking banner icon thing next to the post number in the thread

select your username (upper right in menubar near search and alerts) and the popup window has two tabs...."your account" and "bookmarks"

Son of a gun! I had looked at my username back whenever I noticed the bookmarks and looked at all the options under my name, and then just lost interest.
I never noticed the upper tabs!

Okay I’m sure I’m missing it. After I add it to my Home Screen, how do I get to IH8MUD on it? Just login under “login” and it’ll take me there? Granted I haven’t tried that just yet.

I installed based on the video instructions in the first post.
My phone screen now looks like this, and there is a notification dot on the M logo. I also got a push notification.

Okay so when I go into the app which is now on my phone. It just shows this…
Then I try to log in and I get this….
What am I doing wrong. How do I get to this Forum from the app?
Remove the app from your home screen.
Access the forum via mobile browser and log in FIRST. THEN follow the install procedure. Guessing you aren't logged in via mobile before installing...
I assume you are on the correct iOS version ?
