Dan:

I think the current plan is we'll probably go camp on the beach on the night of the 10th, then go visit Sequoia on the 11th, to caravan down with you on the 11th. I think. Either way, we'll be able to head into the city whenever you are.

That tow rig is wicked cool!

It was good meeting you too Joe. Thanks again to you and Jonathan at TLC for the radiator and hoses.

Hey guys, is this hole in the cowl with the wire coming out of it stock or drilled by a PO? If it is stock, what was it for? I was certain it wasn't stock 'til I saw one like it in "Wilma's Build Up".

I think mine had a radio antena sticking out of it. to tell you the tructh i wish i had welded mine shut and might still do that.
Jason

i have had 8 LVs go thru my hands and only "wilma" had the hole. pretty sure it's an owner-mod for antenna placement.

yeah wilma had a cheap radio shack spring style antena in it that got pitched early on. the more you guys have me thinking about the more I wan tto weld the hole shut.

Thanks guys. I think 1 out of 8 says it's a PO mod. I was gonna weld it shut either way.

Pics of the weekends work coming soon.
