I think he’s referring to this...

Studebaker parts on Cruiser......who would of thought.......

Build looks great

😁 Yeah I know, I still like the way it looks. 1952 dash emblem. And although the original LV tailgate emblem is highly sought after, I never really liked the way it looked. Again taking a little liberty with this one.

Those GIFU dash tags are really cool.

Had no idea there was a Studebaker Land Cruiser. I thought I was old, but I guess I’m not as old as some :p.

When Willys informed Toyota in 1953 that the name "Jeep" was registered and would have to be changed in '54, Toyota looked for a name that could stand with their competition the "Land Rover". Studebaker had been making the Land Cruiser sedan since 1934 but announced that they were ending that model in '55. The two "Land Cruisers only overlapped for one year.

Enjoyed catching up on the progress. Really like the color you chose. Can not wait to see it on the road.

Eddie told me this morning that he wished he could see the look on my wife's face today when I brought it home. The last time she saw the LV was on January 4th when I had it brought to Eddie's shop. She examined every piece and couldn't believe it was the same vehicle.

I think they were supposed to drop that off at my house, nice rig and an exciting day for sure.

Thank you and yeah I'm stoked. I've only walked out into the garage a dozen times tonight and still can't believe this is my LV.
