Started assembly on the passenger doors....I have two of everything, thanks to the Frankencruiser....but have to go scavenger hunt for front passenger window regulator and rear passenger door latch. I have 5 rear door regulators, but only one front regulator...I have to be missing a bag somewhere.

Jason...I have a box full of regulators pulled from miscellaneous doors. Don't quite know how to tell which one would be the front passenger one and am out of town right now. Will be back tonight and actually am headed to Denver Friday for the weekend and could bring one if I have it. If necessary I can pull the interior panel off my 55 and try to match up.

If you don't have them for the right door I still should have all the regulators in my spare doors I can send them out if I have the proper door regulator that your needing. I'll check get back with me later this evening stuck at work right now.

having some technical difficulties with images. Hopefully you won't have to pull the panel, but I seem to be missing the front passenger door window regulator. Oddly, I have 6 rear door regulators....not sure where they all came from....

also, anyone got a spare brake light switch?

I think it is the same part for 55 and 40? But that looks like it!

This is the one I have, need the one that mirrors this.

It took me about and hour and a half to get both sides on, but these rubbers are outstanding! Far better than the vent or rear door fixed ones.

Not sure how I ended up with 6 rear door window regulators, and only one front door regulator....dark forces have been at work here....or they have been cloning themselves......or the one front one split itself into two rear ones.....

Decision needs to be made. Try to salvage these by removing old paint, straighten dents, and polish?

Or, build 4 jigs, buy some sheet aluminum, and start making reproductions....

Nice thing about having extras, pick the best 4, save the rest.

I know what you mean about the vent rubber from John. Not the best fit, talked to him about trying to fix the problems, but never got a response.

Not a very productive day today. Spent way too much time reading the Definitive Resource thread on Weatherstrip and Window Seals.....JCWhitney was what I used before, but NONE of the old part numbers have a current cross reference. Spent an hour with customer service and got nothing.

I did get the drivers door hardware cleaned up and ready to go in. and the little plastic grill inserts....

Get 'em from bobm. Not stock look, but WAY nicer and WAY stronger......

Please post up what you find about part numbers for the weather stripping. I had looked through that thread a few months back and saw that many of the part numbers were not current.
