If you don't have them for the right door I still should have all the regulators in my spare doors I can send them out if I have the proper door regulator that your needing. I'll check get back with me later this evening stuck at work right now.

If you have one, we really could use it.

Please post up what you find about part numbers for the weather stripping. I had looked through that thread a few months back and saw that many of the part numbers were not current.

Sent from my iPhone

I'm betting PabloCruise knows. Where ya at TJ?

Which door regulator are you needing the passenger side? Also have you figured out if the brake light switch I posted will work for your needs?

Did you receive the vent window pivot yet I know it's supposed to arrive today sometime.

Yes passenger side. I'll check for the pivot this afternoon.

Brake switch looks correct.

I am here! Replied to your PM. I will try to find where I discuss this in my build, but might be simplest if you come over this weekend. Sunday is better than Saturday.

My laptop (aka my life) died last weekend and this is the first chance I've had to check via my ancient iPhone. Should have it back by next week but working on a loaner.

I so wish I could be there right now. So wish it.

All I can say is I have a world of admiration and deep appreciation for the support and expertise on this forum.

Ps - my computer fried but film is safe. Steel Soul is safely stored elsewhere. With redundancies.

Brake switch is off to the side for you and I'll get the regulator off the door once the weather lets up we got freezing rain and the chance of snow so it's slow going on getting part off in the cold.

Tried another full size, then took a step back to figure out the cross section bends. Tomorrow, will figure out how to improve the flare up and either end.

Far left has the best cross section/profile, and almost no tool markings, unlike the other attempts.

Again, far left shows huge improvement in smooth and precise finish.

I need a full set let me know how much if you would like to produce another set.

I'm going to put this one in the catagory of "Sometimes the obvious reason is the correct one."

Question, how did I end up with 6 rear window regulators, and one front window regulators? I should only have 4 rear window, and 4 front window, thanks to frankencruiser......

Question, what is the main difference between the 73 FJ55 (moviestar) and 74 FJ55 (frankencruiser)?

Answer is......Vent Window in the front door.

Why is this important? Because when Toyota eliminated the front vent window, they had to switch to the scissor style window regulator. Vent window doors used the single arm window regulator which is, you may have guessed by now, NEARLY IDENTICAL TO THE REAR WINDOW REGULATOR!

These window regulators must have been laughing at me for a week straight, but I got them now!

On the left, 74 and up front window (scissor style) regulator. Center is the rear door window regulator (slightly shorter connecting arm), and on the right the front window regulator 68-73 (vent window doors).
