bull, shotts-- WHOA, I haven't checked this thread in a few days, my apologies if I instigated.

I can't wait to see the bumper on!

You did NOTHING wrong. :)

Some will take any and every opportunity to personally attack one's who they do not like and/or agree with.

I'm treated with respect by all who know and wheel with me. Don't need respect on MUD. :D

I think youve stated the obvious today, as no one would post in such a way, if they were looking for respect of course :flipoff2:

Please give detailed pics and instructions on the front arb locker install, compressor install, switch install and wiring. Are you going with the full size arb compressor or the new mini compressor? I need all the assistance I can get over in NC.

Thanks,

Hi there. Removing the third members this weekend. 4.88s and ARB front by May 5th.

How's this going Bull? I am about to pull the front diff and rear 3rd as well. Any helpful hints about the 3rd member/axle removal would be great :) !

3rd member removal

Just make sure you lock your rear locker first. For the front you can just un bolt the upper ball joints and swing the knuckle outward to get enough room to pop out the cv's, just make sure you disconnect the abs wires so you dont stretch them.

Montocr,
I saw the rear locker needs to be locked in the FSM...but thank you for pointing this out!

Got the front apart...I was worried about all the bolts...since I have had trouble with most undercarriage bolts so far due to it spending 6-years on the rustcoast...but so far all the bolts/nuts came right off.

Am I right in guessing that was close to 10k in parts. I just picked up an 98 and want most of the same but was planning on doing one at a time starting with the OME and tires.

Bull is too busy buying other cruisers... He is ill folks. Ill.

Yeah, just under that I would expect. I have around 7K in mine with all the same stuff, but I have no front ARB, gears and I already had the winch.

Buy the stickers from Toyota. They brought out one from a Tundra and one from a Tacoma. Both were IDENTICAL....HOWEVER....the Tacoma sticker was $20 (or so) and the Tundra one was $35 (or so). HILARIOUS, huh? :D
