Whether this opinion is wanted by you or not, I couldn't really care less.

Sweet! I'm trying to figure out what I have done to warrant you being prick?

I have been posting "MY" experiences with lifting and modifying the 100 series if you don't like it just ignore it and stop reading them..oh and replying to them..

Here is the TJM Classique I got from from Slee pre-paint. More pics to come post paint and during the install. I will also pull the 3rd Members out for the 4.88s and ARB locker in the front this week.

Adding the N74L shocks helps this "problem" as the added rear pressure on the rear wheel when flexed helped to put added pressure on the opposing front. This helped F&R in the articulation dept.

Hijaak, how does the N74L put more pressure on the axle than the N74 when the are valved the same? The only thing that is happening is that the axle droops out more in the rear. It does not push the front down.

Hard to pull away from that sweet 45 series? Can't wait to see the finished product.

Hey Bull, nice bumper. Sometime before installing it, could you post a pic of the backside of the bumper looking upwards? I'm just curious how the design differs from the LX bumpers. IOW, why they aren't compatible.

I will post some pics for you later this afternoon

By keeping the rear wheel on and pushed against the ground rather than being in the air. Of course if the holes get too deep and there's little to no force on the back wheel then the gain to the front is zero. The front is so stiff near the bumpstop that it would push the front up and into the air. With the longer rear shocks these scenarios have rarely showed. The rear's on the ground so the opposing front is on the ground.

Example pic. Before in this spot my pass front wheel would be off the ground because I didn't have the extension in the rear to swallow the hole. Also, the drivers front would not ba as stuffed. Can't do anything about front extension however adding rear extension has been a big help. It aids in forcing the front down which stuffs the same side front and helps keep the opposite side front on the ground. Actually, here's two pics where without those N74L's I'd have a front wheel in the air and the one on the ground wouldn't be as flexed/stuffed.

In typical twisted roads I've noted the front wheels stuffed more than ever before. The whole rig is better planted and more stable.

This sounds a bit prick-like:

"ok I'm done...you haven't even read what I have posted..."

Unless you weren't talking about me (though it appears right below a post of mine), in which case I apologize profusely.

In a word... yes.

Also, Bull, I think the reason the ride is stiffer is because of the thickness of the bar (like a thicker coil spring of the same height and number of winds would have a stiffer ride than the identical coil made with thinner diameter steel). Not because of the adjustment itself.

Of course, I said "I think" as I'm not sure if this is fact or opinion... :flipoff2:

OK, heres someone who gets it, vs someone who's trying to convince us he "meant" other than he posted.

Like John with his 3/4 inch more droop making the car more stable, when its the spring that applies force to the wheels, the shock controls the spring movement

Nothing like the "what I meant" posts from those who cant say "I was wrong" :D

ZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzztttt <---- noise of big fishing reel.

I'm surprised that such an incredible expert (like you) would even dabble and respond to us dumb-dumb low-life nobodies in a thread such as this?

I'm very sorry some of us upset you so. My apologies.

Dont flatter yourself John, its for those who read what you had posted assuming it would be correct. We work with allot of cruisers, so factual info is always a help to those who see it as that, the rest with you is a bit like playing WHACKAMOLE, it pokes its head up, you hit it, it dissapears, fun for a while, but the best part is you dont have to put a coin in :flipoff2:

This actually started out as a very informative and interesting thread.

Bull I would also like to see some pics of the inside of the front TJM.

Is the top tube and front bumpers removable?
Do the front bumpers hide anything?

mr shotts...nice pics..sorry for not searching, but are your rims 16" or 17" ? And your tyres are 33"/285 metric? They look good!
cheers

Yes, at least for the TJM T3C, the tube & guards appear to be removahttps://forum.ih8mud.com/editpost.php?do=editpost&p=1040398
Edit/Delete Messageble. This is the underside where the tube is held to the bumper with the bolt head you see. PM me for more photos.
