I don't think I'll herculine that little strip on the rear since it doesn't really line up with the flare lines on the side of the truck.

The metal tape wasn't at Autozone, but I did find it at Checker Auto Parts.

Took Flares off yesterday, got some metal tape,How much duraback did you use?How much for a gallon? I am almost ready to do this.
Thanks.John
PS your truck looks great, good job!

bought my durabak off ebay. Came with everything needed except xylene cleaner.

having the non-UV durabak on my rig for over a year now, if i did it again, i would get the UV stuff. It does look kinda bad when the rig has been dirty and in the sun for a long time...tends to have a faded grey/worn-out look to it. Washing it and spraying armoral on it makes it look brand new again, but eventually it fades.

Ooh...I can armor all the Herculiner? SWEET! :grinpimp:

Not only can you armor-all it... you can tire shine it! that tire shine crap lasts longer!

Prices? How much is everyone paying for the UV Durabak/Herculiner.So the non. UV stuff fades a little, some has texture, some smooth.Just want to get the right stuff.I know I want black.
Thanks,John

Ok,that was easy.Checked on e-bay: UV Durabak but it now $119.95+$14.50ship,Herculiner w/ UV top coat kit $70.50+ $18.95 ship.
What do you guys think,I am going to check some local parts stores like Kragen,Autozone,to aviod shipping costs.

Autozone is where I bought my kit.....it was like $89.99 for the Herculiner.

That includes 1 gallon Herculiner, 1 roller, 2 roller sponges, 1 paint brush.

I added a roll of blue masking tape, electrical tape, metal tape, and a small paint pan.

That looks tough. Sometimes people do this to their trucks and it looks like crap, but it totally fits with your extras. Prescott is such a beautiful place, I've spent many nights camping out their. How do you like your tent?

Don't get the black from e-bay, they're charging same price for color - black should be cheaper

www.durabak.com

or durabakbedliner.com should be cheaper

I bought my herculiner for 63.00 I think, can't remember now. I do know I got it at Menards, no shipping and cheaper than online.

Cody the Lexus looks sweet, what does that tire size cross to 35 or bigger, they look huge.

Chad

38.7" tires, Chad.

Do you really need to de flare for this? I dont see any reason why the rockers and flares couldnt be coated in it. Im thinking about doing that.

I am deflared for Rubicon& other hard core trails.I figure take them off now or let the trail do it for me!Plus you get a little more clearance when inches count between rocks.Mine were also cracked
&comming off in some spots.
We are doing the rubithon wagon run in like 11 days!

Well this is going to be my dd for the next at least 5 years so I think im gonna leave my flares on haha. But when it becomes my trail rig alot is going to change.

The 1.5" spacers are behind all 4 tires......to make the track wider.....not on the suspension.

I'm upgrading to the Slee 6" setup now for some more height.

I removed the flares since they would easily be destroyed by these tires.....they stick out about 3.5" from the body with monster side lugs for maximum flare destroying power.
