Spent about 6 hours out in the garage in the coveralls welding some strips on to reattach the roof securely. Sweated my butt off and made it about 4-5 ft down one side, this is gonna take a while. I also decided that I am gonna chop my doors into 1/2 doors since only 1 of the 4 opens correctly, I got real tired of walking all the way around the cruiser and climbing through to open doors. Also threw up a couple pics of the tire carrier I made a while back.

Bought 2 rolls yesterday used all that was left in the welder and almost a whole new one. I got some decent lights for free off a forklift to mount on the front too But I never got to that today.

Was working on getting the roof attached some more today and went to weld a patch on near the windshield. Came across some of the old style lead patching. Bout 1/8-1/4 inch thick over a large portion of the pillar. Took me a good bit longer to patch that area then anticipated. I also have a nice amount of lead on the floor now.

Sweated my butt off all day again today and finished up the whole passeneger side all the holes by the windshield and at the back are patched up. Also got my shocks mounted. I ended up having to notch the front perches so that the adapter for the eye of the rancho shock would fit right. But I'm inching forward.
