Amazing!

Not to go too far down the rabbit hole, but the title of the youtube vid literally has the word ICON in it. I also know all about Proffits, and the incredible work they do.

It wouldn't be such a big deal if there wasn't another TLC restorer/modifier named ICON.

It's quite obvious what the purpose of the naming of the vid was.

It happens all the time on craigslist, youtube, ebay, and other outlets. Quite annoying to be so transparently capitalizing on another companies success.

Maybe it bothers others, maybe it doesn't.

Sweet 40 either way, and a great price.

That's one hell of a bill from Proffitt's! If I paid them 49K I would curious what the Misc. charge of $1000 was for, damn.

Nice FJ

Great looking truck no doubt... I saw the 'ICON' thing too - not sure if it bothers me or not but I WILL say that looking at a rig like this is bout like how most of us would feel visiting a strip club........

Look all you want.... smile quite a bit.... KNOW you ain't gonna get it!

Oh! Damn! I missed that one.... seriously I did. I don't want it to be compared to the ICON. It ain't. In most forms and/or fashions. Although, it's the FJ that most recognized when associated w/ larger sums of money than the typical FJ transaction. I agree w/ you, ain't a big deal if ya really interested in a non*kicka** FJ. Much respect 1manarmy

Oppss... suppose to go like this

"I agree w/ you, ain't a big deal if ya reallyinterested in a non-ICON kick A** FJ. Much respect1manarmy"

Sorry for the confusion

Hahaha! Great strip club analogy. I certainly do not disagree unfortunately for me lol

This thing was for sale a couple of years ago. The exact same pics were in that ad too which is still on expedition portal. Reason I know is because I was looking at the wheelbase stretch this has and another cruiser built by Proffits that has a similar stretch. Even the pics in your ad have a date of 2015 which is a little strange. It's a nice truck according to 2015 pics

Not sure that's such a big deal. Getting good pics can be a pita. As long as nothing substantial has changed, I don't see an issue with old pics.

For tens of thousands of dollars, I think current pics are warranted. Good pics are easy. Pull out the phone, snap a couple and post. Takes 5 minutes.

Again, if there is no difference between the pics, what's the point? Literally the only thing different between the pics might be the date in the metadata... A 2 year span for a garage kept truck that gets driven once a month is going to be nil.

If it has different wheels or some work was done to this or that, then sure, snap a new shot.
