Good! Get her to a meet! We need many like her.
BTW, where were you in Feb? I saw you heading that way at 11:30, that's an hour and a half after the meet time!
March may be better. The nice weather is coming up. We might have some folks around.
What is up with the weather lately anyway? Last week I couldn't get any work done at all. It was pouring every day. I was about to take a week off and build an ark out of the extra lumber that I have around here. But the wood was too wet to build a boat out of it! If you see animals walking two by two, send them to me! I'll do what I can.So much for the drought! It was nice while it lasted. I felt like I died and was sent to the wet hell that is in Seattle!
I had to go to the Horsebreakers' ranch to check out some problems, and I had to drive thru a blizzard to get there. The ranch is in a valley east of Dewey in a desert. There are tall cactuses there, and we were in a blizzard! It must be that global warming! It's a terrible thing!

the last meet I told you my gf borrowed the cruiser to go pick up some big items from Prescott which turned into her going shopping at Costco. Because of her insubordination, I have grounded her from truck borrowing indefinately.

On a good note, it looks like my bumper kit is being delivered in Mesa today...time to hook up the monster trailer and go pick it up!

Years ago, a friend of mine told me to always drive stick, so that gf would not borrow. It doesn't work so well anymore! When I bought an auto, I had to teach my wife how to drive it! She kept looking for the left pedal.
She hates backing the Cruiser, so I get a pass on that.
Call me when the bumper gets here. We might weld it in my shop, or I can show you how and the tools needed.

Step 1...add enriched uranium.....

Uranium is not needed, just a lot of voltage. You have a pile of toys there.
Wifey will let me weld as much as I like, as long as I cover the electric bill! You want we should weld this up? I'm game! I have a great weld bench and the electric toys to fulfill it. (Two welders, a chop saw, three disc grinders, a drill press, 7 drills, 2 bench grinders, lots of clamps, & other toys.
I have enough power tools to make Tim Taylor turn three shades of green! It's really ugly!
My tools and computers together are probably worth more than the hut I live in.When we moved here from Mesa, the household was easy. We already had all new furniture in the new hut. We had to pack personal stuff, the rest we took to Goodwill.
My shop was another deal. I rented the biggest truck that U-Haul had, a 26ft box. I filled it up from my shop. My wife was amazed at the cost of moving me vs her! She could not believe the amount of equipment that I loaded out of my shop! I am not cheap to keep!

Lots of toys indeed. Big kid puzzles are fun to put together. Let me know when you're up for getting some work done on it. I ran through the gallery on the 4x4labs site and it all seems to go together pretty simple.

Yup.

I dunno, mine probably won't even reach my bumpers or sliders...but its shiny and red.

So whens welding time, Brian?

Works for me....see ya Saturday

I just got back from the sh!tty down south with a 2000watt/4000 surge power inverter. It is huge, should run a saw and trim router at the same time!
At AAA we used the same unit to run a 1/2 horse, 3 gallon compressor all day long. No more 40-minute air-ups? I have to find a place for it and hook it up, then see what it will do.

Hey guys, I'm not gonna be able to make it tomorrow. My daughter wants to go see the Horton Hears a Who movie. We're going to the 1030 movie. Hope you guys have a good turnout.

I heard of a few cruiser guys from Cottonwood (2 - 80s) running some Smasher Canyon tomorrow, but that would be while the monthly meeting was happening.

I tried to get them to make it to the meeting instead, but I guess they already changed the trip plans 3x to do it on this Saturday, but maybe I can get them to come out for the next month's meeting?

Since it might just be you and I Brian, did you still want to meet at Frys, or just swing by my place to check out the bumper kit?

Cody, you missed a good run through smasher canyon today. Seth didn't tell me about the meeting until this morning when we met up to go. The samurai that came with us blew up a u-joint and had to bail out, but the 40's kept going up the canyon until my clutch started slipping pretty bad.

We are actually cruiser guys from Prescott who went to Cottonwood. I am interested in meeting up with you guys. I am new to the internet forum scene.

Nice...definately the more the merrier at the monthly meets. I gotta check out the Smasher Canyon trail sometime. I lived in Cottonwood for 3 years and never even knew it existed.

I must warn you...now that you found the internet, IH8MUD, and a few Land Cruisers...your mods and trail runs will increase by 926%.

I'll PM you my number so we can meet up and talk cruiser and trail BS whenever.....
